For at least as long as human beings have existed knowledge and skill has been transferred from master to apprentice. I have been blessed in my life to have had wonderful teachers and mentors who sacrificed their time and energy to take me under their wing. This list is far from exhaustive but is my attempt to publicly expression gratitude to the people who helped make me the person I am, I couldn't have done it without them.
Shri Yogi Hari was my first yoga teacher. I spent the better part of a summer at his Ashram learning what it meant to practice yoga in a focused and disciplined way. He shared his knowledge of Hatha Yoga, Ayurveda, and Bhakti freely and laid a foundation suitable to build upon.
Randy Aromando was my first and most influential mentor. Technically he taught me the first through third series of Ashtanga Yoga but more than that he helped me transition into adulthood. I came to Randy full of attitude and ego, he changed that through some much needed tough love and by being a positive male role model.
Joseph Satlak was the Yin to Randy's Yang. Joseph was my Iyengar teacher and
